The Reports area provides powerful reporting and export tools to help you analyse sales performance, customers, products, stock levels, and other important business data.
Reports can be viewed online, exported in multiple formats, or saved and automated for scheduled delivery via email.
To access your reports:
- Click E-COMMERCE from the main menu.
- Select REPORTS from the Orders and Reports section.
Exporting Data
Many reports can be exported for use in external systems, accounting software, spreadsheets or custom analysis.
Supported export formats may include:
- Excel
- CSV
- JSON
Export options vary depending on the report selected.
PDF Exports
PDF exports use an improved generation process designed for greater reliability.
PDF formatting remains intentionally simple to maximise compatibility and ensure successful generation.
Excel/CSV Exports
Excel exports are ideal for spreadsheet analysis and data manipulation.
Please note that Excel files remain subject to standard spreadsheet limitations, including maximum row counts and file size restrictions.
Automated Reports
Frequently used reports can be saved and automated for scheduled delivery.
When a report is saved, a copy of the report configuration is stored in your Saved Reports area. Saved reports appear above the standard report list, providing quick access to your most commonly used reports.
Benefits of Automated Reports
Automated reports can be used to:
- Receive regular business reports automatically via email.
- Monitor sales, stock or customer activity without manually generating reports.
- Send scheduled product lists, stock reports or order information to suppliers, distributors or business partners.
- Distribute important business information to multiple recipients automatically.
Customising Saved Reports
Saved reports can be customised to suit your requirements.
You can:
- Select which columns are displayed.
- Reorder columns.
- Configure report generation schedules.
- Specify one or more email recipients.
- Choose the preferred export format where available.
Date Ranges in Automated Reports
Many reports use date filters when run manually.
When a report is saved for automation, the system will attempt to convert fixed date ranges into dynamic reporting periods where appropriate. For example, a report covering the previous month may automatically be configured to generate data from one month ago through to the current date each time it runs.
