You can tag your products with features so users can search for Products that match the features required using the advanced search function.
Note: Customers can check a box for multiple features - though this will refine the search and narrow the results to Products that contain all selected features, rather than displaying Products that have at least one of the checked features.

When editing a Product, features can be applied via the Features tab. New features can also be added in this area.
Features and feature Sets will then be visible in the advanced search area, if enabled.
