How to add a link in the Product Description field

While the Basic Product Description area only allows for text in the Details: field, you can use the Short Product Description Rich Text Editor option to add links or other HTML styling.

Where to access the Short Product Description Rich Text Editor

The Short Product Description Rich Text Editor option is accessible via a link on the main Product page.

1. When on the main Product page - click the button ADDITIONAL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION found in the Basic Product Description area.
   - Alternatively you can click the MORE TEXT tab top-right to access the same area
2. Edit your text in the Short Product Description Rich Text Editor section. This will launch the default page editor where you can add links and other custom content or formatting.
