Selling digital media like PDFs

You can sell MP3s or PDFs or other digital media files via our shopping cart.

At the completion of the checkout payment process, the file(s) for the order will be emailed to the customer (separately). 

  • In order for this feature to work, you must accept payment by credit card and have completed any required integration for server call backs. This is how the payment servers tell our servers that payment was successful and thus the only way to send the digital files automatically.
  • If using any manual payment method, you will need to mark the order as paid in order for the files to send. 
  • You can resend any file to the customer under the Print/Email documents section of the order. 

1. Go to Products Menu link (or Ecommerce > Edit Products) Navigate to the desired category this product will be in. 

2. Click Add New Product

3. Select Add Digital Document

4. Select your File that is to be sent to the customer from your computer.

5. Fill out the title, description, code and price.

6. Press Add product.

7. Once the product is added, make any adjustments such as the photo. 

8. Publish. You must publish and wait a few minutes for the file to be pushed live before you can test.
